The Fukuoka Labor Bureau reports that the number of foreign workers in Fukuoka Prefecture reached a record high of 64,990 as of October 2023, a 13.2% increase from the previous year. Vietnamese workers constitute 31.1% of the total (20,218 people), followed by Nepali workers at 18.8% (12,241 people), Chinese workers at 18.3% (10,476 people), and Filipino workers at 7.7% (5,021 people).
