Inn The Park, a combined park and accommodation whose slogan is a "park where you can stay overnight," opened in Uminonakamichi Seaside Park. Opened to promote park tourism, an initiative to turn parks into tourist destinations, the facility  features light-emitting spherical tents and barbecue facilities, and Kyushu's largest athletic tower is located next to the park. The aim is to allow people of all ages to enjoy a relaxing time in close proximity to nature.
