Three Regional Airlines Commence Kyushu-Okinawa Code Share Flights with ANA and JAL

Three regional airlines based in Kyushu, Oriental Air Bridge, Amakusa Airlines and Japan Air Commuter, together with All Nippon Airways (ANA) and Japan Airlines (JAL), began offering code share flights between Kyushu and Okinawa on Oct. 30. These are the first code share flights in Japan to transcend corporate affiliation. Passengers can now purchase tickets that incorporate different companies’ flights on each airline's reservation website. This initiative will strengthen the network of connecting flights in the region, including those to remote islands, which is expected to generate tourism demand.
