Taishin International Bank, a mid-sized Taiwanese bank, has opened an office in the Tenjin Business Center in Fukuoka. Established in 1992, the bank had total assets of approximately 12 trillion yen by the end of 2023. It has branches in Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, and Malaysia, and established a Tokyo branch in 2016. The bank primarily provides business financing and real estate investment loans to Taiwanese enterprises. With TSMC's expansion into Kumamoto, this marks the fourth Taiwanese bank to enter Kyushu.
