Fukuoka Prefecture announced plans to establish "Global Connect Fukuoka" (tentative name), a support hub for startups and ventures, within the upcoming "CIC Fukuoka" (tentative name), a facility to be opened by CIC (Cambridge Innovation Center) in spring 2025. This will be CIC’s second base in Asia. The new hub aims to support local companies with funding, business matching, and international expansion, contributing to the creation of a global startup ecosystem. The facility will also host seminars to enhance international business communication skills, targeting startups with global ambitions and local companies.
