U.S. Logistics Giant Ups Launches International Cargo Flights At Kitakyushu Airport

Starting February 20th, U.S. logistics giant UPS has launched international cargo flights to and from Kitakyushu Airport. The flights connect Kitakyushu with Shenzhen, China, via Kansai International Airport. The company has been operating five weekly flights between Kansai Airport and Shenzhen since 2021, but this is the first time it is operating cargo flights in Kyushu. The service aims to tap into the growing semiconductor business in Kyushu and the demand for cross-border e-commerce between Japanese companies and overseas markets.
