In response to strong expansion and investment needs, Fukuoka Prefecture, in collaboration with local municipalities, will develop approximately 100 hectares of industrial parks between 2022 and 2026. Key projects include the “Miyawaka North Industrial Area” (about 21 hectares) adjacent to Toyota Motor Kyushu in Miyawaka City, and the third phase of the “New Matsuyama Coastal Industrial Park” (about 30 hectares) in Kanda Town. The “Nogata-Kurate Industrial Area” (about 23 hectares), expected to be completed by 2025, aims to attract large-scale data centers due to its strategic location and low incidence of natural disasters.
